As a small business owner myself, I believe they will help us.
If I may ask, have you ever owned a business of any kind?
Mind answering my question I posed to you over two weeks ago, btw?

Obama is on a war path against small business owners. If Goldman Sachs or GE doesn’t own it, they will soon.

Definitively hurt middle class business owners not poor business owners. Therefore bad business not enough to get out the already business process creating a lag in the system.

Oh it will definately hurt small businesses, and if his silly HC bill passes, we might as way say goodby to a lot of jobs in America!

He will not help small business until republicans take many seats in 2010 and hand him a bill in 2011. He will reluctantly sign then.

Well since he is cutting their taxes, I dare say he is helping them.

Definitely hurt. I worked for a small business for ten years and saw lots of people laid off.
Then it was my turn. For some reason this country hates business owners. The punishing taxes and restrictive paperwork. It’s no wonder many businesses have to hire people to handle stuff that has nothing to do with what the company is about.
And now we have job losses in the millions. Hey Obama, where’s that stimulus money you said you were going to ignore lobbyists with. Oh, wait, never mind, you gave it to ACORN. They’re not lobbyists, right?

Small business? His policies are destroying ALL business. What business in the U.S. would be stupid enough to start up or expand with a president at the helm who openly and aggressively vilifies business, profit and prosperity? Yeah, there’s a recipe for economic growth. Not.
And then, with the unemployment rate at near record levels and in the middle of one of the worst recessions in 50 years, he raises the minimum wage. Brilliant. What a freakin’ moron.

This is a good question, and it has a couple of different answers.
1. If the health-care bill is passed, it may reduce the burden on small businesses who are now paying for HC for their employees, as they will be able to defer to this plan at 8% of payroll ( most pay higher rates )
2. the small businesses who do not cover employees, will suffer as they will now have to, ( this could be why Wal-Mart is in favor of this bill) as these small businesses close Wal-Mart stands to pick up the profit left behind, kind of a "last man standing".

Small individual businesses will survive but large corporations will be swallowed up for government control just like energy, healthcare (He hopes), and financial institutions (when in history has a Presidential panel set CEO pay-outs?).

Hurt, with the proposals of taxing businesses and people with incomes of over $250,000, how can that possibly help a small business? Let’s say
0bama care where to pass the way it was proposed in the House. If a small business does not provide health care now, than they would be penalized under the plan because they don’t, so how could that help? The stimulus hasn’t stimulated, so how is that good?

I am a small business owner and this is the first time in all the economic up turns and down turns that my business has been dramatically hit. Since the Democrats and Obama took over the majority vote and started running the government and the economy into the ground my business is now struggling to survive.
All I see in the future is higher taxes, hire fees, and being mandated to provide health care or pay a high penalty if I don’t. If government would get out of the way and be more friendly to business maybe I could afford to offer health insurance as an incentive to keep better employees or expand and create more jobs.
I’m not the only one in this situation. Many small business owners I talk with are also on the edge of failing.
