What are the rules and policies of the Disney Museum In San Francisco?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin

Im going to the Disney Museum in San Francisco saturday and i cant find the rules and policies? I already know about the "famous" NO PHOTOGRAPHY rule.I have a baby with a stroller and two other kids and my wife so i just want to know the rule and policies.
Thanks!

I’d assume they’re the same as any other museum (for which "no photography" is pretty standard). However, for a few specifics:

"• Strollers are not permitted in the galleries. There is limited stroller parking on the porch of the Museum, however, we recommend that you leave your strollers in your vehicle.
• Photography and videography are not allowed in the Museum.
• For the enjoyment of all visitors, we request that you refrain from using your cell phone within the Museum.
• Visitors with disabilities may bring their service animals into public areas. Pets are not allowed."

Basically: behave as is expected of a person in a public place and don’t infringe on the copyright of the displayed items. Nothing too outlandish, it seems.

What are some of the problems of pollution and policies adopted by China to control ?

Posted on March 7th, 2010 by admin

I have to do a presentation on the topic Pollution in China. It could be the problems, solutions, policies etc. adopted by China.Any help will be welcome.Thank you!

China has been reforesting vast areas of ‘desert’ land in the Western regions of the country, in fact this is the biggest reforestation project ever undertaken. This helps to take some of the CO2 pollution out of the air.

Where can I find information about Bush’s economic policies?

Posted on March 2nd, 2010 by admin

I see a lot of reference to "Bush’s economic policies". The context of these references don’t shed any light on what the actual policies are. All I’ve been able to extract from the context are that the Bush economic policies are the root of all evil and portent the end of existence as we know it.

Where can I learn more about the actual policies and goals?

Thanks for all honest and unbiased answers.
I suspect that all the "root of all evil…" descriptions might be a bit too biased for my tastes. I’m looking for something a bit less biased.

Actually, He didn’t do bad at all. The normal business cycle produces periodic recessions. The longest time between recessions had been 11 years. Bush’s administration managed to keep it to a record 17 years. In the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks, he managed to keep the country out of a recession when most economists predicted the country headed toward one. In 2003 the unemployment rate was 4.4% which matched the previous administrations best. Seeing as 2003 was well within Bush’s 1st administration, I think we can safely assume that one other answerer is biased and uninformed. Anyway, there’s a lot more to it than that. Since you asked for a place to find out more, see the following link.

What is the most effective, impactful way to shape or initiate policies to further economic development?

Posted on February 23rd, 2010 by admin

Is it through the private/corporate sectors, government admin or pubIic policy? I would like to work to shape or initiate policies that will enable for further economic development in my country of origin. Which departments of the federal gov. or other organization should I pursue in the United States to get the experience I will need to take back with me? Which degree will be most appropriate?

The part that is always ignored is the people who hold the real power in the USA and control our lives in ways that most of us ignore, yet they are the ones that are responsible for getting us into this mess and most of the messes we get ourselves into.

This is not done for ideological reasons, it is done for power.

Most of us don’t give a damn because it is too damned complicated to understand. Yet if people would look at it, it is really very simple. I am no math or economic wizard, yet I can look at this and fully understand that these people are the true enemies of democracy and our people.

Who are these people?

It is as close as the money in your pocket.

Look at the back of a dollar bill
It says Federal Reserve System
How many of you know that system is privately owned?
How many of you know that the Federal Reserve System is controlled by a few banks and a handful of very rich people?
How many of you know that the chairman of the Federal Reserve System is probably the most powerful man on the planet?

The Federal Reserve System controls our money supply
Prints our money
Controls our Interest rates
encourages you to be in debt
lends money to our government while you the tax payer are paying interest on that debt.
That our money is not backed by anything tangible, such as gold or silver, but only backed with a promise.

In short, they control just about every aspect of your life, your money, your credit cards, your mortgage, your car loan, student loans, your retirment, etc.
Including having their hands in getting us involved in money making wars.

The smartest thing I ever did was chose to live debt free about 20 years ago. It is amazing how much of our money is eaten up by the Federal Reserve System, and how much more disposable income I had because I made the right choice.

And more information about the federal reserve system:

What government policies affect the world food supply?

Posted on February 19th, 2010 by admin

Also if you can help, can you please tell me.
How have these policies affected the economy, society and enviroment in terms of food supply?
And to what extent have people been affected by these government policies?
Any help would be great thanks

P.S What other policy options are available?

This is by no means comprehensive. Ethanol is a good example of the government subsidizing a very bad idea with has caused a spike in corn prices which affest the consumer. Usually the government interferes indirectly by allowing subsities or enacting, tightening or easing tariff which will favor a certain foods production over another. The government could adopt a true free market system and let the market find it own equilibrium which would be best for everyone.
