Why did Obama hire the failures from the Clinton admin for his foreign policy staff? Does that indicate change

Duly noted ducky. Still waiting…

Clinton similarly promised a new type of government, and then took on Carter administration appointees, such as Warren Christopher.

It’s Warren Christopher we have to thank for the 1994 treaty with North Korea that gave them a billion a year in free energy, and yet required no nuclear inspections to insure their compliance, allowing N. Korea 10 years to secrectly develop nukes undisturbed.

In full disclosure and equal time, the Republicans do it too, most notably in W. Bush’s appointment of Rumsfeld and Cheney from the Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Bush Sr. administrations.

What is the general opinion of the staff, and of the students of homosexuality at Belmont University?

Posted on March 2nd, 2010 by admin

I’m considering transferring there, but I’m gay. I know that historically it is a Christian college, but have heard that they are becoming more secular. I’m wondering if anyone here attends/has attended Belmont before and can tell me how gay people are treated there (are they accepted by students, are they discriminated against, are there policies against it, etc). Thank you :D

honestly, your gonna get into problems into any place for being gay, not just one specific area.

im not discriminating but its true and especially in a catholic school.

i think that being gay isnt even a big deal because i know alot of kids that are gay and i still hang out with them like i used to when i didnt know they were gay.

Being gay wont really b other you unless you bring it out too much.

Does Yahoo Staff/Employees have a code of conduct that they must follow? Have you noticed harassing staff?

Posted on February 17th, 2010 by admin

Has anyone noticed the Yahoo Staff/Employees targeting and/or harassing members because of their gender or race? I am wondering what the Yahoo Employee/Staff policies are for employees governing racism, discrimination, and/or gender type abuse, harassment & targeting by Yahoo staff. If you have a link or information on this please do post your response. The reason I ask is because I have received many complaints by YA! Forums members that their accounts are being deleted, purposely targeted due to racism abuse, unlawful harassment, and gender-type abuses by the Yahoo staff.

Sexual harassment, racism, personal attacks, have all found their way to the court. We at one time, ignored such thingsm but can no longer. The role of the employer in preventing these abuses is clear: so creating a strong IU policy is a matter of due diligence. Enforcing the IU is important. Email & Internet Use policies need to reflect that these abuses will not be tolerated & any employees engaging in them
makes Yahoo liable for such statutorily and federally unlawful, regulated abuses.

Can you please list any information or websites you have on IU and other policies that govern Yahoo Answers! Forum Staff, and all Yahoo Employees Staff period? Thank you.
sheryar: It is obvious you failed to read my question in its entirety. Please go back…go back and read my question in its entirety, then re-post an answer to my question, please, not an opinion. I am requesting information not an opinion.

Thanks so much for comprehending.
Julius, you’re jumping to conclusions and wrongfully I might add. There is such a thing called "friends" and friends confide in other friends. It’s not what you stated at all. Get a hold of yourself and maintain control. You seem very bias in your non-responsive comment. Please re-read my question. Answer correctly if you know the answer; if not move on, you know? I am specifically asking for information not wild accusations and innuendo. What you printed is not responsive, you know? Thank you.

It is illegal anyway. Yahoo suspend people for almost no reason. Some fool reports a question because they dont like you and you lose 10 points! Ridiculous.

What policies do other Physical Therapy practices have for taking vacation?

Posted on February 15th, 2010 by admin

My company is having a hard time with vacation coverage. If you take a day off, your patients still need to be seen so someone needs to cover those hours. We try to leave the coverage up to the PTs taking off but they are not motivated to find coverage or feel like they are entitled to vacation and should be able to take it. Besides having a floater on staff, what do other practices do to ensure vacation coverage?

At our facility, we have to have all time off approved and only one other person in your area can be off at a time. We are usually pretty good at working around it. We do have a small resource staff to help cover hours, but if only one person is off, it is usually not necessary.

What is the policy of supermarkets when their staff abuses customers on their premises?

Posted on February 10th, 2010 by admin

I’m getting no respect or reply from a household name, that claim that every little helps but manage to squeeze 2bn in profits..I suppose the real question is..DO THEY CARE?

The policy will vary between companies as it is likely a disciplinary offence.

Best bet is to go and ask for the manager and make a formal complaint. He doesn’t need the hassle but make it clear if he doesn’t get it sorted you will write to head office.

should staff who work for the royal family abide by the Queens new policy of keeping quiet when they leave?

Posted on February 3rd, 2010 by admin

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/112408/The-Queen-slaps-gagging-order-on-palace-staff.html

apparently this includes handing back memrobilia and not publishing memoirs, to counter act the paul burrell attitude?

views tvm.

Of course the staff should keep quiet – and it is a sad commentary on our times that a written contract is essential to ensure discretion.

The royals, like the rest of us, have a family life which inevitably includes (among a lot of less picturesque routine) tensions, embarrassing outbursts and family rows. Like the rest of us, they have the right to live this essentially private life in private.

Now, if a monarch were to join the BNP or show sympathy for Islamist bombers, it would be a different matter. Such news should not, and could not be kept quiet. But as far as ordinary gossip is concerned, they have the right to protect themselves.

what are the various car providing policies for AVP & VP level staff in india. are they included in ctc.?

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by admin

generally a car is provided to higher level saff , does it include the fuel, chaffeur, serviceetc.
is all this included in ctc or is over & above this.
a proffesional advice is required.

In most of the companies, general managers and above are entitled for company cars (either company gives the car from pool or employee can purchase it and company refunds the money equal to monthly EMI). Cost of fuel is included and it is genrally on per kilometer basis or fixed amount per month. The entitlement of driver and salary depends on company policy for each grade. Similar is the case with company paid servant / cook etc. Are you working in some company? Are you looking for opening in some multi-national company? Please mail me your resume in MS-Word format. My email id is contact_nsd2002@yahoo.co.in. I will forward the resume to my HRD deptt.
