Which first lady has the largest personal staff in the history of the Presidency?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin

Hint: She also sports $540 shoes at soup kitchens and $6,000 purses in Russia and her staffs combined salary far exceeds 1 millions dollars a year.
All for someone who has NO (official) Governmental policy duties.
Thank goodness for Change you can believe in

I’m guessing you mean Michelle…….HOWEVER, it’s been proven that the so-called $6,000 purse was NOT a $6,000 purse. It was a $500 purse from the same company who makes those $6,000 real alligator purses. Her’s was the fake version.

Minor contraction: Which policy, or combination of policies, would you recommend to address this situation?

No situation described – so no policies recommended.

What are the rules and policies of the Disney Museum In San Francisco?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin

Im going to the Disney Museum in San Francisco saturday and i cant find the rules and policies? I already know about the "famous" NO PHOTOGRAPHY rule.I have a baby with a stroller and two other kids and my wife so i just want to know the rule and policies.
Thanks!

I’d assume they’re the same as any other museum (for which "no photography" is pretty standard). However, for a few specifics:

"• Strollers are not permitted in the galleries. There is limited stroller parking on the porch of the Museum, however, we recommend that you leave your strollers in your vehicle.
• Photography and videography are not allowed in the Museum.
• For the enjoyment of all visitors, we request that you refrain from using your cell phone within the Museum.
• Visitors with disabilities may bring their service animals into public areas. Pets are not allowed."

Basically: behave as is expected of a person in a public place and don’t infringe on the copyright of the displayed items. Nothing too outlandish, it seems.

Who do you tell if your boss isn’t following company policies?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin

My CEO has become a stickler for saving to the point that he scrutinizes everyones’ expense sheets himself. Fair enough! The problem is: in an effort to save, he’s been ignoring company policies (and cheating employees out of money).

Who should this be reported to? What’s the most professional way to handle it?

Thanks!

the ceo? you will have to bring it up to the CFO.

Should legislation be passed to allow health insurers to sell policies across state lines?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin

Can a strict set of policy guidelines be passed that creates the same insurance regulations in each state or that it a state’s rights issue?

If not, then policies will be allowed to be sold across state lines using the insurers home state standard for coverage, thereby creating an immediate stampede by insurers to relocate to the state with the lowest (or no) standards.
It would also encourage some states to lower their standards in order to attract the insurers to their state.
Sorry, should read "if so" not "if not".

I am with you on the first part of your question. The answer is that insurance regulation has been left to the states under current and well established Constitutional interpretation. In order to sell insurance in a state, the insurer needs the approval of the state. This is, and in my view, should remain the law.

I do not understand your little essay that follows your question. It presupposes the wrong answer to your question, or doesn’t make sense, or both.

Edit: thanks for the correction. With that correction, I agree with you. So do the insurance regulators. This is a well-settled point of law.

What is different today economic and fiscal policy wise in USA compared to 1965?

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by admin

to answer this question as precisely and accurately as possible, lets analyze some specific areas:

Trade policy

Federal Income tax top rates

Budgeting/Deficts,surplues etc…

Looking out for our workers, our businesses here at home etc.

So, as we look at each one of these areas and compare what things were like in a period which can be said when we were at the height of our economic greatness as a country, and look at today and how things are……what is differerent????? how do we view things different, how do we do things different policy wise?

The Value of goods and the value of the dollar. Back then, you should buy a oaf of bread for 15 cents…where as now, a loaf of bread is like $3 according on where you go and higher! Back in the 60’s, people were more concerned with fashion and entertainment! That’s where all the money was. Now in modern times, all the money is in consumer sales and marketing.
