What can we do if LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) of India does not maintain our policies properly?

I have 7 LIC policies in SSS(Salary) scheme. LIC people are not maintaining the policies properly. Though the amount was sent, there are showing gaps in their soft data. Later, they are not updating properly. I gave written complaint last month. one month passed. LIC could not regularise my policies due to staff problems and technical problems, they say. What can I do later? How to complain further?
file a case in consumer forum about the negligence in services and demand a compensation or u cn just file an rti application to know the status of ur complaint and i promise ur work will be done

There is no need to worry. The premiums are paid through your salary, And hence you keep the salary slips in tact, in case of any problems in future. That’s enough and do not worry about updating the records in time until the maturity.
good luck

Your Options are:
1. There is a compliance officer (mostly chief branch manager) in every branch. Approach them with your written complaint (with proof) and get and acknowledgement.
2. Write to IRDA – Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority with documentary evidence.
2. If that fails contact the Insurance Ombudsman – LIC should provide you with the details.
